Vaquero’s reference library includes published guidance from Oklahoma State University Extension and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service on forage inventory, stocking concepts, and grazing-land management. These resources provide context for the ranch information used in planning.
Our resource directory also includes educational reading from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. Each listing identifies whether it is an app reference or further reading.

A measurement describes what was observed at a particular place and time. An estimate helps interpret information for planning. Neither can account for every change in weather, pasture condition, or livestock needs.
Use current observations and your knowledge of the operation when reviewing a result. Soil-survey information can provide useful background, but it is not a live measurement of forage in a pasture.
