Created by a fourth-generation ranching family rooted in Oklahoma and Texas, Vaquero grows out of firsthand experience with the land and livestock.
We’re building a practical foundation for holistic ranch management—helping ranchers consider their animals, grasslands, soil, water, and business together. Our goal is to support informed decisions today and thoughtful stewardship for generations to come.
That starts with useful tools: pasture observations, grazing history, and herd records. Our long-term aim is to help ranchers bring grassland ecology into everyday management, building knowledge of their land over time.
The app supports your judgment. The knowledge of the land, the animals, and the operation stays with the people doing the work.

Our priority is the Vaquero ranch-management app. Vaquero Track and Vaquero Fence are longer-term hardware plans, intended to extend what the software can do in the future.
There is no announced hardware release date. Hardware tracking and virtual fencing are not being offered as part of the current app launch or app subscription.
